Event Description: An Improvisational Theatre workshop celebrating Shakespeare and his plays.
To celebrate the BIS Lit Fest, Tambourine Theatre Company gives you 'Shakespeare at Play', a workshop in which we will dabble in Shakespeare's most colorful expressions and words to explore the different energies we use on stage. Words can punch, press, glide, dab, flick, slash, wring or float, according to the text and what a character may need to do at any given time. We will also tap into an improvisational acting 'book' game, as we explore characters and scenarios from a range of the greatest and most well known Shakespeare plays…a process full of twists and turns, magic, comedy and drama, slight madness and timeless dilemmas.
